According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Al-Arabiya, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan arrived in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on an official visit.

The Saudi Foreign Minister last visited Beirut 15 years ago.

Saudi Foreign Minister’s emphasis on adherence to the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon

After meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, the Saudi Foreign Minister said in a press conference that he discussed with the Lebanese President the importance of adhering to the ceasefire agreement and the implementation of Resolution 1701.

He added: “In this meeting, I emphasized the continued support of Saudi Arabia for Lebanon and the people of this country.”

The Saudi Foreign Minister said that we look optimistically at the future of Lebanon and the implementation of reforms in this country.
