Farid Asgari said: “The law of car imports, which was passed in November and was accompanied by an extension in June, includes imports of second -hand cars, but none of these cars have not yet entered the country.”
Asgari added:
The Budget Act 2 has been allowed to import cars with less than 5 years, and the Seventh Plan Act also allows imports of cars with a life of up to 5 years, which still requires the approval of the Cabinet by the Cabinet.
Customs ready to clear all kinds of vehicles
The Deputy Minister of Economy emphasized that if the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Commerce (Semmat) registers the import order of second -hand cars, the Iranian Customs is ready to be cleared. However, the chief of customs of the country stated that no second -hand car has ever entered the country. “The Code of Import of Used Vehicles for less than 5 years has been determined, with a maximum value of € 5,000, but so far no registrations have been sent to the customs.”
Asgari emphasized that the deadline for imports of second -hand cars is by the end of this year, and if the Ministry of Health is registered and information, the Iranian customs would immediately discharge them.
