OpenAI artificial intelligence agents come to personal programs

Openai has introduced a new API called Responsses that offers features such as web search, file reviews, and executing instructions on artificial intelligence. Responsses API capabilities of Openai

This API contains the web search tool that uses the same model that ChatGPT uses for search. With this feature, developers can get up -to -date information and valid resources from the web.

Another important feature of this API is the usability of the computer. Using the Operator model, this tool can perform a variety of tasks from the user, such as managing files or running programs. The new API also has document search tools that help users find the information they need in a large volume of files. At the same time, with the introduction of the API Responsses, the Agent SDK Open also unveiled. This tool helps developers to coordinate different artificial intelligence agents and apply them together to do more sophisticated tasks. Nikonj Handa, a product manager of the API team in Openai, says:

“API Responsses is the main unit for specific tasks, but Agents SDK allows developers to combine multiple agents and manage more sophisticated tasks seamlessly.”

OpenAI plans to replace the API assistants by mid -2026 with Responsses API. The company has announced that using developers’ feedback has made important improvements to the new API to provide better experience for users.
