Tanning Company, founded by Carl Pai, has unveiled a new charging cable for the upcoming Noting Phone 2. This cable uses the same transparent design as the Notting Phone, which you can see in the pictures below.
As you can see in the pictures, this cable is technically a standard USB-C cable, but it uses a transparent coating. On the other hand, its metal connector has the “Nothing” logo engraved on it and a row of tiny dots can be seen on the top of the connector. It is not yet clear what these points are for and maybe they are related to LED lights.
The design of this cable, according to the design language used by Nutting in its products, seems logical. Nutting even used this transparent design in the SIM card needle of Nutting Phone 1.
Last year, the Notting Phone 1 came with a standard USB-C cable, and this year it’s expected to include the new Notting Phone 2 cable in the box, though it’s not yet listed on the Notting accessories page.
The Notting Phone 2 may also come with a charging adapter in the box, while most companies tend to leave chargers out of the box. Noting Phone 2 is scheduled to be officially announced on July 11.
