America confirmed the overthrow of the Indian fighter by Pakistan
A senior US official told CNN that according to the United States assessment, Pakistan has shot down at least one Indian fighter in recent military tensions between the two countries.
According to RCO News Agency, the US official, who has access to the latest intelligence issues, said that although Washington still does not know what weapons Pakistan used, existing evidence suggests that the Pakistani forces were responsible for overthrowing the aircraft.
India has not yet officially responded to this claim.
A senior French intelligence official also told CNN yesterday that one of the Indian Air Force’s Rafal fighters was targeted, the first of which was the loss of this advanced fighter in the battle. The French government is said to be investigating whether more Rafal fighters have been overthrown by Pakistani defense.
Rafal, produced by Daso Aviation Company, is one of the most advanced multipurpose fighters in the world. Losing it in the battle – by a regional competitor – is a significant transformation in the increasing military confrontation in South Asia.
The aerial conflict comes after a series of border clashes and drones entering sensitive areas, indicating an increase in tensions between Islamabad and Delhi.
