Zelensky: We must build a European iron dome/ The West should take action against Iran’s threat
While making hostile statements against Iran, the President of Ukraine said: “We should build air defense together.” “We need the European Iron Dome, we must build it.”
According to RCO News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the current conflict between his country and Russia at the Davos meeting on Tuesday evening.
While claiming Russia’s desire to attack Europe, he said: “There is no ocean that separates European countries from Russia.”
“European leaders should remember that Russia is turning into a version of North Korea, a country where human life means nothing,” Zelenskiy claimed. “But they have nuclear weapons and a strong desire to make life difficult for their neighbors.”
He added: Russia can deploy about 1.5 million soldiers. We have more than 800,000 soldiers.”
In a dangerous statement that indicates his desire for a large-scale war between Europe and Russia, the President of Ukraine added: “In terms of the number of troops, the French are second with more than 200,000 soldiers.” After that, Germany, Italy and Great Britain are located. The rest have less soldiers! This is not a situation where a country can support itself.”
He further called for the construction of European air defense and said: “We should start producing air defense systems together.” “Europe needs its own version of the Iron Dome, one that can overcome any threat.”
Zelenskiy, who receives 99% of his country’s weapons from his allies and the United States, claimed: “We have already launched models of cooperation with the Ukrainian defense industry that can make the whole of Europe stronger. We build drones, including completely unique drones that no one else in the world has. Together we produce artillery, and in Ukraine this amount is very high.”
Without directly referring to the inauguration of the second administration of “Donald Trump”, the person who promised to end the war in Ukraine, he said: “When we look at the United States in Europe as our ally, we understand that this country is a necessary ally. . But in times of war, we all worry, will the United States be with us? And all the allies are worried about this.”
“But does anyone in the United States worry that Europe might one day abandon them?” Zelensky added. Could it be that he is no longer their ally? And the answer to this question is negative. Washington does not believe that Europe can bring them anything really important. I remember last year’s summit at Shangri-La. There, the representatives of the American delegation clearly said that the first priority for them is the Pacific region, the second priority is the countries of the southern world and the third priority is Europe.
The president of Ukraine added: “When war and peace agreements are concluded, Europe must be present at the negotiating table. I’m not just talking about Ukraine. This should be the benchmark. “Europe deserves to be more than an observer.”
He again claimed the presence of North Korean soldiers in the Ukraine war.
In this regard, Zelensky claimed: “So far, 4,000 North Korean soldiers have been killed during the battle in Kursk.”
Despite the publication of numerous reports by the Western media about the expulsion of Ukrainian forces from Kursk and the recapture of this area by the Russian army, the President of Ukraine claimed: “The Russians do not have enough power to expel the defense forces from Kursk.”
He claimed again: “More than 60,000 Russian soldiers are present there today. In addition, 12,000 people were from North Korea, 4,000 of whom were killed, and this was Putin’s strategy to involve another country.”
Zelensky also claimed: “During the negotiations, Putin will demand a five-fold reduction of the Ukrainian army, but we will not allow this to happen.”
The statements of the President of Ukraine and his implied desire for the continuation of the war, while the Russian authorities, including “Vladimir Putin”, the President of this country, have expressed their readiness to negotiate with the Trump administration regarding Ukraine.
He also said in hostile statements against Iran: “Europe and America must take action against Iran’s threat.”
Referring to Trump’s inauguration, Zelensky said: “It is not clear whether Trump will negotiate with Russia and China without the presence of Europe.” Europe must be united and independent.”
He, who has always claimed the heavy casualties of the Russian army, admitted: “In 2022, Russia had about 200,000 soldiers in Ukraine. Now this figure has reached more than 600 thousand people.
Continuing his anti-Iranian statements, Zelensky claimed: “Iran is participating in the war by providing long-range drones to Russia and issuing a license for their production by Moscow.”
Despite Zelensky’s emphasis on the lack of military involvement of Russia and Iran in Ukraine, he claimed, contradicting his statements: “Iran is involved in the war in Ukraine at the global level. “I did not look at the newly signed agreement between Moscow and Tehran, but there is no clause in this agreement that Putin can use to bring Iran into war.”
He claimed again: “After Russia’s decision to attack our hospitals, schools and other infrastructure with Iranian drones, we believe Iran has entered the war.”
