Russian operation against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure
Russia has announced an operation against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure that supports the country’s military-industrial complex.
According to Isna, the war in Ukraine will soon enter its third year, while the Western and Ukrainian authorities are still insisting on the continuation of the war and are not willing to end the war in Ukraine in a diplomatic and peaceful way.
According to the Reuters News agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that during the past 24 hours, the forces of this country have targeted energy installations, military airports, and Ukrainian military personnel in several places using drones, missiles and artillery.
Russia has repeatedly stated that such operations are carried out as retaliatory measures in response to Kiev’s use of Western weapons to attack Russian territory.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced that Russian forces shot down a Ukrainian Sukhoi 27 fighter, 97 UAVs and 6 Himars missiles supplied by the United States.
