Ukraine confiscated 60 million dollars of Russian assets
Ukraine will transfer 2.5 billion hryvnias ($59.4 million) of Russian assets to the state budget in 2024, Ukraine’s Justice Ministry announced on Thursday.
According to Isna, the Ministry of Justice of Russia announced that “2.5 billion hryvnias have been transferred to the budget of Ukraine.”
The ministry further said: “This is one of the key achievements of the Ministry of Justice in 2024.”
In August 2022, the Cabinet of Ukraine approved the decree of President Volodymyr Zelensky to confiscate Russian properties and assets located in Ukraine.
