Minister of Defense of Ukraine: We have received 156 million dollars in military aid from 3 European countries
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rostam Umerov announced on Sunday that the country has received more than 150 million euros ($156.4 million) in military aid from France, Denmark and Lithuania, which will be spent on the production of missiles and drones.
According to RCO News Agency, Umerov stated: “Ukraine has received more than 150 million euros in financial aid from Denmark, France and Lithuania, which is intended for the Ukrainian defense industry.”
From this amount, 111 million euros will be spent on the implementation of defense cooperation agreements between the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Strategic Industries and the Ministry of Defense of Denmark.
France has provided 29 million euros to strengthen the security and defense of Ukraine; While Lithuania has also contributed another 10 million euros.
Umerov added: “These amounts will be used specifically for the production of missiles, drones and artillery systems.”
