Tripartite meeting of Macron, Trump and Zelensky in the Elysee
The presidents of France and Ukraine held a tripartite meeting with Donald Trump, the president-elect of the United States.
According to RCO News Agency, the President-elect of the United States and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who traveled to Paris to participate in the reopening ceremony of the Notre-Dame Cathedral, held a tripartite meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Earlier, AFP reported that Zelensky and Trump, who are in Paris for the reopening of the Notre-Dame Cathedral along with dozens of world leaders and dignitaries, were originally scheduled to meet with Macron in two separate meetings.
The French presidential office confirmed just minutes before the meeting that all three leaders would participate in a tripartite dialogue.
According to News sources, the tripartite meeting between Macron, Trump and Zelensky was held and ended at the Elysee Palace, but no details have been published so far.
Nevertheless, based on the images published on social networks, after holding a tripartite meeting, Macron addressed Trump in a conversation with his American counterpart: “It is an honor for the French people to have you as president again after five years.” America to host and from your first administration, I remember your companionship and quick actions, so I welcome you again, we are very happy to have you here.”
