Stopping the export of Swiss ammunition to Poland following their transfer to Ukraine
The Swiss government has officially banned the export of “small-caliber ammunition” to a Polish company because of its transfer to Ukraine.
According to Isna, this action of the Swiss government took place after it found out that the Swiss company “Swiss P” had transferred about 645,000 small caliber ammunition.
According to the Associated Press News agency, the Swiss government announced: “Exports to the Polish company will be banned because the risk of transferring ammunition to Ukraine is very high.”
The American publication “Defense One” reported in November of last year that a Ukrainian company received 645,000 small caliber ammunition produced by the defense company “Swiss Pay” from Poland.
The Swiss government told the Associated Press: “The investigation showed that the Swiss manufacturer and the Polish company signed an agreement under which the Polish company had the right to resell the ammunition only within Poland.”
The investigation showed that the Polish company violated its obligations in this regard and sent the ammunition to Ukraine.
