Unveiling in China; The fastest train in the world is coming

China has unveiled the prototype of its next-generation high-speed trains; A device that says it is on its way to becoming the fastest train in the world.

The CR450 train was unveiled in Beijing on December 29. This train has reached 450 km/h in test speed and 400 km/h in operational speed. This train can be the fastest high-speed train in the world after entering commercial service. The current Chinese CR400 model was unveiled in 2017 and has a speed of 350 km/h.

The Chinese stated that further tests and some modifications are needed to meet all the standards required for public service of this train.

Over the past decade, China has become the undisputed world leader in railway development, building thousands of kilometers of new railways that reach almost every corner of the country. Its rail network includes more than 160 thousand kilometers; More than 46 thousand kilometers of Chinese railways are for high-speed trains.

High-speed rail has long been used as an effective alternative to short air travel, connecting people between major cities and rural areas of the country with ease and comfort.
