Jhaleh Alou, famous Iranian artist died at the age of 97.
Jale Alou was born in 1306 in Sangalj neighborhood in a family that valued culture. Although her father was an army man, he had an artistic taste and was interested in his daughter getting to know the country’s literature, that’s why from the age of seven, when she started school, he read Hafez, Saadi and Shahnameh to her and encouraged her to get acquainted with the poems of the country’s elders. He entered the radio station directly from the elementary school and announced the program.
From 27, he continued his work in radio more seriously. His first radio show was with “Parviz Khatibi” and after that he collaborated with “Mehdi Ghasemi”, “Nusratullah Mohtasham”, “Azizullah Hatami”. In cooperation with Mohtsham, they founded the “Dastan Shab” program.
Jaleh Alou was the owner of Iran’s first-class culture and art; Also, his son, “Shahrokh Razmjo” is one of the famous archaeologists of the country. He has played a role in a large number of historical films and series in his career.
Jaleh Alou has appeared in various films such as “Event Event”, “Fairy” as well as series such as “Amir Kabir”, “Sheikh Bahai”, “Wolves” and… The series “Rozi Rozgari” and playing the role of Aunt Leila are among the outstanding works of this late actress. Playing in Mokhtarnameh was Alou’s last appearance on TV.
This actor also had professional activities in the field of theater and dubbing and played lasting roles. He has been in charge of the dubbing of series such as “Pat Postchi” and “Sahari far ad khaneh” (Oshin).
