After years, the Koreans finally unveiled the new Hyundai Palisade. Read the specifications and features of this luxury SUV below.
It has been nearly six years since Hyundai introduced the Palisade to the market and now the new generation of this SUV has been introduced to the market, and we will continue to review its specifications, design, comfort and safety features. The new generation of Hyundai Palisade benefits from a new design language and has a more luxurious cabin than before.
Introducing the new Hyundai Palisade
If you take a look at this boxy SUV, it’s impossible not to recall the boxy design of the Hyundai Santa Fe. Of course, the exterior design of this car is more luxurious and has a better design language compared to Hyundai Santa Fe 2024. First of all, we will go to the external appearance of Palisade and then we will take a look at its options.
Exterior design
In the front view of Hyundai Palisade, LED lights with a rectangular pixel appearance are placed and stacked vertically. Both headlights surround the large grille and add to the beauty of the front bumper. This Korean SUV, which has similarities with the Range Rover, has a long wheelbase and end part and short overhangs that have a positive effect on its appearance.
One of the charms of Palisade is the aluminum trim of the D-pillars and their coordination with the roof rails. The next item that can make a significant impact on the exterior of the car is the 21-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels that match the height of this large Korean SUV. The dimensions of the Hyundai Palisade have not been announced, but as expected, it should be more than 5 meters long and stand next to the 9-electric Ionique.
Interior design
Compared to the previous generation, the new generation Hyundai Palisade has a different and more luxurious cabin. The dashboard is well-integrated with two 12.3-inch screens that are integrated into a curve to access the amp screen and the infotainment system. The place of the gearbox shifter is no longer on the middle console and has been moved to the steering column to make more free space available to the passengers.
However, on the middle panel, there are a lot of buttons to control the ventilation system and other functions, which seems annoying. Brown door handles and upholstery will also remind customers of Genesis. There are a number of other features and elements inside the Hyundai Palisade that make it more luxurious, such as a steering wheel similar to the Range Rover, wood trims and interior lighting.
Another feature of the Palisade cabin is the new center console in the front, which can be converted into the middle seat in the front row, thus carrying up to 9 passengers. Of course, separate seats can be ordered for the second row. Third row passengers have a better view and will be more comfortable.
Technical forces
Unfortunately, there is no information about the technical specifications of this Korean SUV, but it is expected that Hyundai has equipped the Palisade with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder hybrid engine and a 3.5-liter V6 turbo. This car will enter the Korean market first, and then it will go to other global markets.
