As previously announced, POCO plans to launch a new version of its smartphones called POCO X7. According to the available information, this phone will actually be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G.
According to Tekna Technology Media’s mobile news service, despite the many similarities between these two models, changes have also been made in them. One of the most important differences can be seen in the camera section of these two phones. While the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G is equipped with a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 camera sensor, the POCO X7 uses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 camera sensor. This change has been made in order to maintain a competitive price for POCO X7. The device will have a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor and a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera.
Initially, it was expected that the Redmi Note 14 Pro series models will be equipped with Qualcomm processors. But in the end, Xiaomi decided to use MediaTek processors in the Pro models and Qualcomm processors in the Pro+ models. This change caused POCO X7 to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor.
POCO X7 will be launched as a mid-range smartphone with powerful technical specifications and reasonable price. The use of the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor and the 50 megapixel Sony IMX882 camera make this phone an attractive option for users. However, to get more detailed information about the release date and price of this phone, we have to wait for the official announcement of POCO.
