Apple’s M3 processor has managed to get high scores in the benchmarks, which cannot be compared to its two previous generations, the M2 and M1 processors!
At last week’s event, Apple unveiled three new M3 series processors. Now the latest benchmark tests show that Apple’s claim about their high speed was not meaningless.

Apple’s new all-in-one processors were announced: M3, M3 Max and Pro
Apple announced that the most basic version of this processor named M3 has an 8-core central processor. This processor is 35% faster than M1 and 20% faster than M2. In addition, its 10-core graphics processor is 65% faster than the first generation and 20% faster than the second generation of this processor.
The benchmarks released from Apple’s M3 processor also confirm Apple’s claim. One of Apple’s Mac computers with this new processor managed to score 3,030 points in the single-core test and 11,694 points in the multi-core test.
These results show a big gap between the three generations of Apple’s processors. Especially when we compare it to the results achieved by Apple’s iMac M1. This computer scored 2,334 and 8,317 points respectively in these two tests. Mac mini with 8-core processor also scored 2,631 and 9,742 points.
Benchmarks may not always reflect the performance of devices in day-to-day use, but they can at least show how true Apple’s claims about its processor upgrades are.
