In April this year, Spotify unveiled the ability to create playlists using artificial intelligence. This feature was initially available to a limited number of users, but now users of 4 new countries, including the United States, can access it.
According to Spotify’s official announcement, the ability to create playlists using artificial intelligence is now available to users in the United States, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand. This feature was initially available to UK and Australian users.
You need a premium subscription to access the new Spotify feature
In short, this feature allows users of the Spotify service to create playlists according to their taste using text commands. In this way, users no longer need to search through Spotify content to find their favorite music, and artificial intelligence can easily create their desired playlist.
Of course, it should be noted that users living in America, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand must also have a premium Spotify subscription to be able to create exclusive playlists using artificial intelligence. The subscription costs $5.99 per month for students and $11.99 for others.
To access this feature in the Spotify application, you must first click on the + sign on the right side of the library and then select the AI Playlist option from the menu that appears. After choosing this option, a chat box will open for you, where you can type in the playlist you want, so that after a few minutes, this service will gather the related music together in one place. This feature is currently only available on the Spotify mobile application and is not available on the web and desktop versions of this service.
The playlist created by artificial intelligence in Spotify has 30 songs and users can make changes to it according to their taste. Queries that include things like artist name, music genre, or release time usually provide more relevant and better results to users.
