Noting Phone 2 beat iPhone 14 Plus in the speed test

Noting Phone 2 was launched less than two weeks ago and although some users were waiting to buy this phone, its lack of use of the new Snapdragon 8 generation 2 chip was considered a disappointment for many people. Nevertheless, the Notting Phone 2 has performed well even relying on the previous generation Snapdragon 8 generation 1 chip and even succeeded in surpassing the iPhone 14 Plus in the speed test.

The YouTube channel PhoneBuff showed in a test that the Notting Phone 2 is slightly faster than the iPhone 14 Plus in running content production applications such as Microsoft Word and Snapseed, as well as outputting video. Of course, this YouTube channel used the 12 GB version of the Notting Phone 2 in its test, which performs better compared to the 8 GB version. Of course, it should be noted that this phone is also $200 cheaper compared to the iPhone 14 Plus ($699 versus $899).

Although the iPhone 14 Plus is faster in running gaming applications than the Notting Phone 2, nevertheless, the new product of the Notting Company was a few seconds faster than its famous competitor in the initial part of this test. This phone managed to open the mentioned applications in 2 minutes and 1 second, but this time for iPhone 14 Plus is 2 minutes and 5 seconds.

In the past, thanks to the great optimization of the iOS operating system, despite using less RAM, Apple phones performed much better than their Android competitors in running dedicated applications, but the iPhone 14 Plus could not beat the Notting Phone 2 in this department, and for example, it faces problems in running the Microsoft Excel application in the background for a long time. This is despite the fact that such a problem has not been observed in the Notting Phone 2.

The Notting Phone 2 completed the above test 6 seconds faster than the iPhone 14 Plus, and this has led to questions about the performance of this phone compared to the Pro and Pro Plus versions of the iPhone 14, because these phones, like the Plus version, use 6 GB of RAM, and therefore it is possible that none of them can beat the Notting Phone 2 in the speed test.
