Iran Khodro recently unveiled the imported Chinese sedan Aulus Shine Max in two petrol and hybrid versions during an event.

According to Iran Khodro, Isaco Kish Company, as its subsidiary, imports 4,000 gasoline-burning and 500 hybrid Chinese sedans to Iran. After some time, this company starts assembling the hybrid version of this car inside the country. Aeolus Shine Max is expected to enter Iran by this fall.

Aeolus Shine Max is a mid-size sedan of the Aeolus brand of the Chinese car manufacturer Dongfeng, whose products such as H30 Cross, Bahman Dignity and Lamari Ima have met with success in Iran. Of course, the original name of this car in the Chinese market is “Yixuan Max”, which has now been changed to Shine in order to simplify it for the Iranian market. Shine Max was officially displayed during the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show and went on the Dongfeng production line from 2021 until now it has reached Iran after 2 years.

According to Dongfeng’s official announcement, this sedan consumes 4.3 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.

Aulus Shine Max is priced between 15,000 and 19,000 dollars depending on the trim (for the Dark Night Edge version), and rumors suggest that this imported sedan will be available in the Iranian market at a price of less than 2 billion tomans. This product imported by Iran Khodro will compete in the country with the likes of Bahman Respect, KMCG 7 and Arizo 6 Pro. Changan Uniway, which will be offered by Saipa, can be another competitor for this car.
