According to reports, the Galaxy S25 FE will be launched with the Dimensity 9400 chip, and the rest of the S25 series models will be launched with the Snapdragon chip.
These days, the type of chip used in the new Samsung Galaxy S25 family has heated up the rumor mill. It was previously leaked that the performance of the Exynos 2500 chip was so low and promising that Samsung decided to use Snapdragon chips for the Galaxy S25 family. But then it was announced that there is a possibility of Samsung using Dimension 9400 for its new phones.
A new rumor has surfaced today that only the Galaxy S25 FE will use the Dimensity chip. Of course, in the meantime, negotiations have been held between Samsung and Mediatek regarding S25 series phones. However, the S25+, S25 and S25 Ultra models are said to be equipped with Snapdragon chips, and only the FE model will use a Dimensity chip, unless Samsung decides to use older, more affordable chips from the Taiwanese company.
Therefore, if this is Samsung’s decision, there is a possibility that the Exynos 2500 chip will be used for the new Galaxy Z Fold and Flip phones that are going to be launched next summer. Until then, Samsung can fix its performance problems.
