Xiaomi is going to launch the Redmi Note 13 series on January 4 in the global markets, and now, according to the information revealed, this series will receive Android updates for three years.
This series was recently introduced in China, but according to the information published by Sudhanshu Ambhore on X, all models of this series in global markets will run Android 13 based on MIUI 14.
In addition, this series will receive three years of Android updates (up to Android 16) and four years of security updates. As you know, Xiaomi Redmi Note models usually receive two years of Android updates.
According to today's information, the Redmi Note 13 series will not receive HyperOS anytime soon. The Chinese version of this series has a 6.67-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display and a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a triple camera island on its back panel.
The standard model of this series has a 108 megapixel main camera, while the Pro and Pro Plus models have a 200 megapixel main camera. The Chinese version of Redmi Note 13 is equipped with a Dimension 6050 chip and a 5000 mAh battery, and Redmi Note 13 Pro and Pro Plus use Snapdragon 7s 2nd generation and Dimension 7200 chips, respectively.
