You can now browse the entire web with ChatGPT. In May of this year, OpenAI allowed users to use ChatGPT together with the Bing engine. However, the company immediately removed the web browsing feature after realizing that users could use this chatbot to access paywall content.
The web browsing feature was recently returned to paid ChatGPT users on a test basis, and now after a few weeks of testing, everything seems to have gone well and the feature is now out of beta and part of the GPT-4 model. which Plus and Enterprise ChatGPT users can access.
As the owner of the Bing search engine, Microsoft has been one of the main investors in OpenAI and has invested more than 13 billion dollars in this artificial intelligence company. The cooperation between these two companies continues after three years.
ChatGPT’s web browsing feature is very simple to use. In beta you had to turn it on in ChatGPT settings, but now Plus and Enterprise users don’t need to do that anymore. This feature is now available as an option in the drop-down menu under the GPT-4 model selector.
Other ChatGPT updates include DALL-E3 for Plus and Enterprise users along with voice and video calling capabilities.
