Only a few weeks are left until the official unveiling of Samsung’s new flagships, and the market of rumors about the pricing of these products is hotter than ever. While earlier reports offered conflicting information, the latest leaks from reliable European sources suggest that buyers should brace themselves for a price hike on most models in the Galaxy S26 series. The website Dealabs, which has a brilliant history of revealing the price of gadgets before the launch, has claimed that Samsung plans to change its pricing strategy in European markets and include higher figures than the previous generation on the price tag of its products.
According to the report, the base version of the Galaxy S26 with 256 GB of storage will probably be available for 999 euros. This figure represents an increase of 40 euros compared to the launch price of the Galaxy S25, which entered the market with a tag of 959 euros. Another important point in this report is the possible removal of the 128 GB version from the production cycle of the standard and Plus models; An action that significantly raises the price floor of entering the world of new Samsung flagships. A similar situation is expected for the Galaxy S26 Plus model; So that its 256 GB version will probably be sold at a price of 1269 euros, which represents a jump of 100 euros compared to the previous generation.
But the story about the most powerful member of this family, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is a little different and more complicated. It seems that Samsung has decided to keep the base price of this model constant to avoid a severe price shock to users. According to the published information, the 256 GB version of the Ultra model is still available at a price of 1,469 euros, which is unchanged from the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, users who need more storage will have to pay more. The 512GB model has been bumped up to €1,669, and the 1TB version is a significant jump, likely at an astronomical €1,969.
Analysts believe that the main reason for this increase in prices is the increase in the cost of supplying key components such as advanced chips and RAM memories, which has put a lot of pressure on smartphone manufacturers. Although these prices are related to the French market and the Euro zone and may be different in other markets, they confirm the general trend of the 2026 flagship prices. Samsung is expected to officially unveil the Galaxy S26 family on February 25 (early March) to confirm the truth of these rumors.
