With the official unveiling of its latest flagships in China, Honor once again demonstrated its power in the smartphone market. The new series includes two models, Honor Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro, both of which are equipped with the latest and most powerful Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and by offering innovative features such as a dedicated artificial intelligence button, they elevate the user experience to a new level.
The Pro model has been released as the flagship version with stunning technical specifications. This device uses a powerful triple camera system on the back panel, the star of which is a 200-megapixel telephoto sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 3.7x optical zoom. Next to it, there is a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 122-degree field of view. On the front, it sports a 6.71-inch OLED LTPO display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an amazing maximum brightness of 6,000 nits. The 50 megapixel selfie camera of this model is accompanied by a 3D depth detection sensor for safe face unlocking. The device is powered by a massive 7,200mAh battery (in the Chinese version) with support for 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.
The standard Magic 8 model also comes with the same powerful chip and artificial intelligence button, but has some key differences. This model has a smaller 6.58-inch display and a 7,000mAh battery with 90W wired charging. Its camera system includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide and a 64-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Both phones come with MagicOS 10 operating system and Yoyo smart assistant and are trying to win the title of the best Honor phone.

The pre-sale of these two models has started in China and will be sold from October 23. The base price of the Honor Magic 8 starts at 4,499 yuan (about $630) and the base price of the Honor Magic 8 Pro starts at 5,699 yuan (about $800).
