Artificial intelligence has helped scientists find anti-aging drugs. These drugs can also be effective against diseases related to aging.
According to Tekna’s technology and technology news service, in general, it takes years of time and money to discover a dove. But with the help of machine learning and artificial intelligence, scientists managed to do this in the shortest time and at a low cost.
Researchers at the University of Edinburgh used machine learning to discover senolytic drugs. These drugs also prevent related diseases by slowing down the aging process. Senolytic drugs destroy old cells. Aged cells have metabolic activity, but they are not able to reproduce, and for this reason, they are known as zombie cells.
Of course, stopping reproduction in these cases is not such a bad thing. Because the DNA of these cells has a problem and for this reason the reproduction stops so that the damage does not spread. These cells can secrete compounds of inflammatory proteins and thus infect the adjacent cells as well. During their lifetime, body cells are always exposed to various attacks from chemicals to ultraviolet waves. Meanwhile, old cells accumulate in the body and can cause diseases such as diabetes, cancer or lung fibrosis.
Researchers at the University of Edinburgh, with the help of the IBBTEC-CSIC research center, have started a training machine learning experiment to discover and identify the new Cenolithic. This eventually led to the discovery of new drugs by artificial intelligence.
