The Chinese company Honor, which separated from Huawei at the end of 2020 and pursued its own work, claims that for the first time they have used the Dynamic Island feature. While the general public thinks that this feature appeared for the first time with Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro series phones.
Honor’s CEO Zhao Ming claimed at the Shanghai CES that the mobile industry is stagnating due to a lack of innovation. Especially Apple is facing problems in innovation every year. The manager of Honor believes that the dynamic island is a feature very similar to the “smart capsule” feature in the Honor V20 phone, which was released in 2019.
Apple’s Dynamic Island iPhone 14 Pro is a button-shaped cutout with smart features. This notch changes size and shape according to notifications and phone activities such as charging status or incoming calls.
This was one of the most attractive features that Apple included only in the Pro version of its flagship iPhone 14 series, and the owners of the other two phones were without it. But now Honor has claimed that they implemented such an idea on their phone for the first time and that Apple copied them. Of course, it goes without saying that LG also implemented such an idea several years ago on its own LG V10 phone with a secondary display in the upper right corner of the screen.
