NASA has warned with three short videos about the terrible situation of the intense emission of carbon dioxide in the earth. Which countries have a greater role in causing global warming and turning the earth into hell?
In another billion years, the heat received from the sun will increase by 10% and the average temperature of the earth’s surface will reach 47 degrees Celsius. The increase in the earth’s temperature will cause the death of many animals and plants and will evaporate the water in the oceans. In such a situation, the earth turns into a greenhouse planet like Venus, which means that even the most resistant human-made spacecrafts cannot last 1 hour there.
NASA’s video of carbon dioxide emissions on Earth promises a frightening future
Although apparently, some companies and countries are very interested in advancing this prediction; Because they are releasing carbon dioxide in the earth with all their might and they don’t care about the warnings of scientists. Scientists have been warning for years that the continuation of the current situation will increase greenhouse gases in the earth’s atmosphere.
In this case, one should expect a sharp increase in temperature, deadly storms in some places and drought in other places. Also, due to the melting of polar ice, the water level of the oceans will rise and many coastal cities will be destroyed. In this case, some places such as the Middle East will not be habitable and there is a possibility of widespread wars over water and food sources.
The presence of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere prevents the heat from escaping into the space and the planet Earth moves towards hellishness. Of course, we humans will not realize the severity of the situation until we see something with our own eyes. That’s why NASA has released three videos warning about the situation of carbon dioxide emission on earth.
These terrifying videos show with great precision which regions of the earth emit the most carbon dioxide. You can also see how much it changes throughout the year. Of course, what is shown in the videos is from the year 2021, which means that the situation could be even worse.
Explaining the videos, NASA said that the orange color represents carbon dioxide emitted by fossil fuels, and the red color is related to biomass (waste that is of biological origin). Also, the green color represents the earth’s ecosystem and the blue represents the ocean. Blue flashing points are areas where carbon dioxide is appreciably absorbed by ocean water, and green flashing points indicate the same conditions for plants.
Let’s start with the first video. There are some important points in this video. North America is heavily emitting carbon dioxide, and especially the northeastern regions of the United States play a prominent role in this regard. At the beginning of the video, we see green dots flashing in the Amazon rainforest, which means that the plants are absorbing carbon dioxide.
In the continuation of the NASA video, we see that carbon dioxide emissions intensify as a result of the use of fossil fuels and cover the entire earth in a few months. Other Amazon forests cannot have a significant impact on them either. This is where the effect of using coal, gasoline, and gas can be clearly seen.
In various sources, industrialized countries are mentioned as the main causes of the global warming problem; But these videos can show the situation in a short time and more easily than numbers.
In the second video, we see Asia and Australia. In this region, the highest amount of carbon dioxide emission is related to China. The contrast between China and Australia is significant. Where it has a low population density and it seems that Australia is not very interested in using fossil fuels. But the reality is something else.
Australia has a population of 26 million and has the highest per capita greenhouse gas emissions (due to burning coal) in the world. In other words, if this population was not so scattered and gathered in a big city, for example, the NASA video of the release of carbon dioxide in this area would be completely different.
The last video also shows Europe, the Middle East and Africa. As expected, European countries play a significant role in polluting the planet and driving it towards destruction. In the Middle East, Saudi Arabia is also heavily emitting greenhouse gases. African countries are not to blame in this regard. However, if you pay attention, you can see a red cloud in Central Africa. This cloud of carbon dioxide is released due to agricultural activities.
In fact, the planet can create a proper balance between its resources in a natural state, and the release of a certain amount of carbon will not be a problem; But the problem is that with the industrialization of societies, this balance is messed up. Currently, carbon dioxide constitutes only 0.04% of the total gases in the earth’s atmosphere; But this low amount has a disastrous effect.
Scientists have said that atmospheric carbon dioxide is slightly less than 420 ppm (parts per million). However, this amount was half until 200 years ago, and of course, it could not even come close to these values for millions of years. In other words, the presence of humans on the planet has had many destructive effects, one of which can be considered the strong emission of carbon dioxide.
However, it is not too late to fix the problem. Countries should consider this problem as a global problem and prioritize immediate and effective measures. Although so far the warnings of scientists about the situation of carbon dioxide emissions on the planet have not been effective, we hope that at least the NASA videos will change the situation a little.
Do you think governments will pay attention to this issue before a full-scale disaster occurs?
