The share of blocks made by the US sanctions on the Ethereum network has just increased to 5 %. If the rise continues, the mastery of services that censor transactions in the digital currency can be an influential factor in the nature of China Ethereum.
According to Kevin Telegraph, censorship at the level of the protocol is a negative factor on the way to digital currency ecosystem to obtain open and open financial services. For this reason, the digital currency community has been overseeing the adaptation of the Ethereum network to US economic sanctions.
According to statistics on the Mevwatch.info website, over the past 7 hours, 5 % of the Ethereum network blocks have been built using services that follow US sanctions.
At the end of October, a report on the increase in blocks in line with US sanctions to 5 % was published on the currency website. Now, however, the rate has reached 2 % in a relatively short time.
The services initially talked about are called Mev-Boost Relas, and those following US sanctions censor in their activities to censor specific transactions (such as transactions related to the Tornado Mixer). Therefore, Ethereum needs services that do not censor to maintain neutrality in the network.
Ethereum credit meters are able to abandon the services that censor transactions from their Mev-Boost configuration, thereby reducing the amount of US sanctions on the network.
According to the Mevwatch.info website, services that do not currently censor transactions include:
- Bloxroute Max Profit
- Bloxroute Ethical
- Manifold
- Relayooor
The mastery of censorship services on the network allows the US government to impose its economic and trade sanctions on the China block. It is worth noting that the US Foreign Capital Control Office had previously boycotted the Tornado Cash and several wallet addresses.
Let’s also add that 5 % of all network blocks have been built following US sanctions since the implementation of the coral update on the Ethereum Network.
