The Mexican artist, using half-baked eggs and endless creativity, creates fascinating works of art that depict beauty in simplicity.
Michele Baldini, a Mexican artist, creates creative and attractive works of art using half-baked eggs. This artistic adventure began when he tried to recreate with an egg, the symbol of “Yin and Yang”, one of the main concepts in ancient Chinese philosophy. The success of this project brought more ideas to his mind, and in 2017, he created a page called “The Eggshibit” to share these works with others.
Michele says about this experience:
Egg is a simple but attractive material and its white and yellow contrast on a dark background looks very eye-catching.
With the help of his skill and imagination, this artist recreates different objects, symbols and even landscapes with eggs. His works are a combination of everyday objects and familiar designs that evoke a sense of identity and curiosity. Since starting The Eggshibit page, Michele’s life has changed a lot. He graduated from medical school and moved to Berlin. These new experiences, according to him, have inspired new and more complex designs. He says:
Drawing on eggs is an opportunity to focus and turn my mental chaos into something tangible and attractive. For me, this activity is not only a hobby, but also a form of artistic expression.
Although some people believe that you should not play with food, Michele considers it an art and makes sure that no food is wasted. He is also looking to develop his work and dreams of publishing an art book or even designing a music album cover. Baldini’s creative works, which are a combination of simplicity and complexity, show well how a simple material can become a means of art expression.
