From Las Vegas to Abu Dhabi; The second sphere of entertainment is coming

Las Vegas will no longer be the only city with a large, glowing globe.

Abu Dhabi is set to become the next venue to showcase multimedia entertainment in this unique spherical structure, according to the developer and UAE officials.

“Mohammed Khalifa Al Mubarak”, the head of the Abu Dhabi Culture and Tourism Department, said in a press release:

The construction of this sphere is in line with the UAE Capital’s 2030 tourism strategy, which aims to further develop Abu Dhabi as a dynamic center for culture and innovation. By embracing state-of-the-art entertainment like Sphere, we will not only attract global attention but will set new standards in immersive experiences and cultural offerings.

So far, no information has been announced about the construction site of this sphere, but it has been said that its scale will be similar to the “20,000 people Las Vegas sphere”. Inside this sphere is a high-resolution LED screen, and its exterior is equipped with 1.2 million LEDs, which can display dynamic images on a large scale.

The construction cost of Las Vegas is 2.3 billion dollars.
