According to Mehr reporter, the system for measuring skeletal disorders and abnormalities was localized by Mohammad Yousefi, a member of the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
A faculty member of the Faculty of Sports Sciences said: This product detects skeletal disorders of the human body in different views, which uses active and passive infrared indicators and an infrared camera to extract disorders and abnormalities of the body.
Mohammad Yousefi pointed out: After the image is recorded by the software, the device is shown in different views of the body (anterior and posterior fontanel image and sagittal image). The images are analyzed in the software by image processing algorithms and biomechanical equations, and after that, biomechanical data such as angles A detail is compared with the normal data available in the background of the software and the result is provided to the user in the form of a coherent and complete report in PDF format.
According to him, in each department, if there is an abnormality, exercises related to fixing and improving the abnormality are suggested by the software, which can be used with the doctor’s approval.
He stated that the design of all the pages, algorithms and equations of the system software was done by the company’s specialists and standard programming language was used, and he clarified: the normal data of the software has been updated with the increase of user data and will be improved with more data in the future. will find
Yousefi also said about the production capacity of this product: This product has been localized for the first time in the country and we have the possibility to produce 250 units per year.
He stated that with the implementation of this project, 25 people have been employed in the field of exporting the system for measuring skeletal disorders and reminded: due to financial obstacles, we have not yet succeeded in exporting it, however, we have received requests from China, Iraq and Afghanistan that if Doing this will bring significant foreign exchange for the country.
It is worth mentioning that Poya Gam Azma Tehzih, a knowledge-based company, started its activity in the field of medical equipment in March of 2019 by establishing itself in the ecosystem of Birjand University, and has several products in the field of medicine and one knowledge-based product.
Comprehensive 3D motion analysis software and biomechanical data analysis, reflective markers (used in motion analysis laboratories), smart foot pressure gauge system, medical thermal camera, and malleable insoles are among the products of this company.
