Russia: The United States cooperates with Ukraine on the preparation of provocations with toxic substances
The head of the chemical-biological-radiation defense forces department of the Russian army stated that the United States is partnering with Ukraine in the preparation of provocations with poisons, and the recent statements of its representatives in the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons confirm this issue.
According to Isna, General Igor Krylov, the head of the chemical-biological-radiation defense department of the Russian Armed Forces, stated today (Monday): “The recent statement by Nicole Champin, the official representative of the United States in the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, is a document and proof of Washington’s involvement.” It is in the future provocations.”
Krylov stated that another international platform was formed based on the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons under the control of the United States, and the United States was used as an excuse to settle political accounts with undesirable countries.
Krylov pointed out that Russia, like Syria, will send documents and evidence to the Security Council and the UN General Assembly to refute the accusations raised against it regarding the use of toxic substances.
The head of the chemical-biological-radiation defense department of the Russian army also said in a press conference on Monday that Ukrainian scientists are engaged in scientific activities aimed at creating compounds to hide and eliminate the effects and consequences of using toxic and dangerous substances.
He noted in the press conference: “The activities of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2023 and 2024 show the special interest of the Kiev regime in the design of chemical substances.” In 2023 and 2024, the specialists of this academy carried out a series of scientific activities with the aim of creating compounds in order to eliminate the consequences of war-grade chemicals. They cited the Russian threat as an unsubstantiated explanation for the development of compounds to remove toxic substances.
More than 40 members of the Ukrainian security forces received training in the Netherlands in June on how to take samples to document the use of toxic substances, he said.
Krylov said another document for Ukraine’s future provocations by accusing Russia of using chemical weapons is the delivery of Western-made personal protective equipment to Ukraine in extreme volumes, inconsistent with a country that does not have chemical weapons.
