Intel today unveiled the Core Ultra 200V series processors for use in laptops that have artificial intelligence capabilities.
The highest model of this series, named Core Ultra 9 228V, has 8 processing cores and 8 processing threads, which include 4 performance cores and 4 low-power cores, and have a maximum frequency of 5.1 and 3.7 GHz, respectively.
After this processor, there is another model called Core Ultra 7 268V, which has 8 cores and 8 processing threads, including 4 performance cores and 4 low-consumption cores, and they have a maximum clock speed of 5 and 3.7 GHz, respectively.
You can see the rest of the models and their specifications in the table below. These processors are built to compete with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite and AMD Strix Point.
Intel claims that the Core Ultra 200V series processors are the most energy-efficient x86 processors. These processors are going to be released soon in laptops based on artificial intelligence.
