We have bad news for three of the best-selling Xiaomi phones; They are out of support and will no longer receive software updates!
Xiaomi has officially added the names of three more phones to its list of retired phones. These three are Xiaomi Mi 10T, Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro and Poco X3.
The supply of these products goes back to the end of 2020. The products that were in the market for the last three years and the Chinese giant got a good profit from their sale. But now Xiaomi’s update policy is to stop supporting these best-selling phones after three years.
This decision is easier to understand for owners of the cheaper Poco X3. But maybe this news is painful for the owners of Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro flagship phones. These phones are powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset, which performed very well in its time. Even now, after the past three years, the Qualcomm chip under the frame of these models has an acceptable performance.
While these older phones had a three-year support from their brand owner, the support for the newer models of this company has increased to 5 years. This is mostly related to products that have been released in the last year or two.
