Kremlin’s reaction to Trump’s remarks after contact with Putin – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news

Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskov, referring to the latest phone conversation with Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, respectively, said Moscow was carefully monitoring Trump’s statements.

Trump described his last contact with Putin about the Ukraine war as “very disappointing” and claimed that he did not think Putin was going to stop the war.

Peskov said Putin told Trump in the conversation that Russia expects an agreement on the third round of peace talks with Ukraine. The first two rounds of talks between Moscow and Kiev were held in May and June.
