Iraqchi called for mass sanctions against the Zionist regime
The Iranian Foreign Minister said that “mass sanctions against Israel must be imposed to force the Zionist regime to stop its crimes against the innocent people of Gaza and other nations in the region.”
According to RCO News Agency, the lecture of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Arakchi at the extraordinary meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Cooperation Organization to address the aggression and crimes of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people held in Jeddah on Friday evening is as follows:
Bismillah al -Rahman al -Rahim
Mr. Ibrahim Taha, the Honorable Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation,
Dear Mr. Lujon Obla, Honorable President of the Summit (Cameroon Foreign Minister),
Respected ministers,
Initially, I would like to thank the Honorable Secretary -General for holding this meeting in the current critical condition. I also appreciate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for hosting this meeting. The summit is held in a difficult situation while the people of Gaza have suffered an unmistakable suffering from sixteen months of genocide.
The situation in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip, is deeply worrying. This crisis is not only a humanitarian catastrophe, it is the manifestation of a deep injustice in the right of a nation that has been deprived of its fundamental rights and human dignity for more than seven decades and has been exposed to cruel aggression and occupation.
The Zionist regime has been bold and unconditionally supported by the United States of America and its Western allies and committed unimaginable crimes that have been a set of all international crimes, including war crimes, crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, and divisions.
Dear colleagues,
We strongly condemn and condemn the recent US government plan to force Gaza’s population and control the US government to Palestinian territories as a blatant violation of international law, including the Fourth Geneva Convention. We also emphasize that any action aimed at changing the demographic and cultural context of occupied Palestine is unacceptable and contrary to the principles of justice and international law. Iran also expresses its deep concern about the political and human effects of such actions on the region and the world. Such designs merely increase the suffering and injuries of the present generation and guarantee the continuation of the calamities for future generations.
Gaza’s developments clearly indicate US complicity in the crimes of the Zionist regime. Unfortunately, the United States has once again decided to ignore the roots of the crisis in Gaza and continue its strategic co -alliance with the Israeli regime at the expense of violating the fundamental principles of justice and human rights. The United States is sharing all the current war crimes against the Palestinian people through military, financial and diplomatic support for Israel.
Palestinians have an inherent and unstoppable right to defend themselves and resist occupation and rape. This right is recognized in international law and does not require any foreign power. However, most Western countries have not only denied the legitimate right of Palestinian resistance groups to defend themselves, but they actively justify Israel’s crimes on the pretext of “self -defense”. The international community must reject these misleading narratives and recognize the principle that the Palestinian resistance groups- formed to combat occupation, apartheid and rape- are legitimate in accordance with international law. In this regard, the so -called human rights defenders who empower war criminals are an concern and unacceptable.
In addition, according to some Zionist political officials about the abolition of the Palestinian generation or the proposal to target Gaza with a nuclear bomb, the international community must force the Israeli regime – an extensive arsenal of weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear weapons.
Mr. Chairman,
With the support of the actions taken by the Islamic Cooperation Organization for Gaza, the meeting must provide a bold and comprehensive roadmap that is in line with the Gaza crisis. Now is the right time to make sure that our words will be tangible. We believe that collective sanctions against Israel must be imposed to force the Zionist regime to stop its crimes against the innocent people of Gaza and other nations in the region, and as an urgent action. In addition, all companies and institutions that directly or indirectly support the occupation and crimes of Israel and provide this regime must be targeted and their activities should be suspended at least in the member states of the Islamic Cooperation Organization.
The Secretariat is required to provide a list of these institutions that are active in the member states of the organization.
At the same time, in order to clarify that Muslim countries completely reject any attempt to expel the Palestinians from their ancestral land, we need to oblige the New York Islamic Cooperation Office to draft a resolution containing and rejecting any publications to the United Nations.
Dear siblings and brothers,
Immediate submission of humanitarian aid to reduce the suffering of Palestinians must be accompanied by the creation of an international campaign to rebuild Gaza with the pioneer of the Islamic Cooperation Organization, thereby providing the cost of rebuilding homes, hospitals and underlying infrastructure. Implementation of an economic reconstruction program for Palestine, especially Gaza, will help their homes return to their homes with dignity and unconditional.
Given the Israeli regime’s continuous disobedience to the United Nations Charter, the UN Secretary -General’s announcement as an undesirable element, a complete obstacle to the activities of Anva, and the unfortunate reality of the loss of hundreds of UN employees in Palestine, is necessary to continue our efforts. The only 21st century apartheid regime, which systematically weakens international law, ignores UN resolutions and commit crimes such as war crimes, genocide and ethnic cleansing, should not legitimize it. We also need to support all the initiatives that deal with the crimes of the Israeli regime inside and outside the United Nations.
In the end, the establishment of the International Day of Gaza victims of Gaza can act as a strong reminder of the suffering of the Gaza people and assure that their struggles against Israel’s crimes will not be ignored and will not be forgotten. Establishment of such a day commemorates the victims and keeps Gaza’s constant suffering alive in human memory and world conscience.
Mr. Boss,
The Islamic Republic of Iran’s government and the people of Palestine are unnecessary and our constant commitment will not be pale under any circumstances. The Islamic Republic of Iran supports the resolution of this summit, and without the impact on the commitment, I would like to register the provisions of this resolution as follows. Its details will be subsequently submitted to the Secretariat.
2. In respect of some friendly states regarding the two-state solution, the Islamic Republic of Iran continues to believe that this solution will not lead to the rights of the Palestinian people. In our view, a democratic government that represents all the main inhabitants of Palestine is the only acceptable way. Therefore, we separate ourselves from all the clauses referring to this concept in the present resolution.
In addition, joining this text cannot implicitly or explicitly be interpreted in any way as identifying the Zionist regime.
2. Like all the peace-loving people of the world, the Palestinian people deserve all the tools needed to realize their undeniable right to determine their destiny and liberate themselves from the alien colonial occupation. Given the brutal temperament of the Israeli occupation forces, nothing should be restricted. In accordance with international law, it is our duty to support such a demand. We principally declare our support for any Palestinian national agreement between the Palestinian people.
In the end, deeply hope that this valuable meeting will inspire the international community to take meaningful measures to promote justice and peace for the Palestinian people. Hoping that this gathering will be a renewed covenant for their valuable cause.
The end of the message
