Due to financial concerns, more than a quarter of international students are reviewing their initial destination and reviewing alternative options.
Among the alternative options, European countries such as Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands were highlighted (due to lower tuition fees).
Also, 4.3 % of respondents are looking for shorter programs such as three -year undergraduate courses to reduce high costs.
Despite financial concerns, only 5 % of students intend to postpone their education.
The degree of interest in different degrees
Regarding Spring Polls, the interest in postgraduate programs has increased.
More than half of the participants (1 %) announced that they are looking to pursue a master’s degree, which has grown by about 2 % compared to last year.
The interest in doctoral degrees has also increased by four percent compared to last year.
Although the interest in other sections has declined, more students have said that they are considering them:
Expert (1.5 % vs. 4.3 %)
Postgraduate Diploma or Diploma (4.1 % vs. 1 %)
Certificate or Diploma (4.3 % vs. 1 %)
The most popular jobs of interest to students after graduation are:
Engineering
Nursing and generally the field of health
After these, the “lecturer”, “researcher” and “human resources” came in third.
