Mahmoud Habib, a spokesman for the Kurdish Syrian forces, known as the so -called Democratic forces, insisted that the forces would not deliver their weapons, Mehr News Agency quoted Roodav News Agency as saying.

“We seek to integrate our forces into the Syrian army rather than dissolve them or disarm them,” he said. We will not deliver our weapons to any group.

Habib added that the forces have the ability to secure the Syrian cities and borders and could be the core of the army.

He said: In the event of the dissolution of the forces, Syria will need more than 6,000 troops to perform their duties.

Habib also supported the establishment of American occupation elements in various areas of Syria.

It should be noted that since the fall of Bashar al -Assad’s regime, so far, the forces have been targeted by Turkish elements and terrorists ruling Syria. Syria’s terrorists had previously called for the dissolution of the forces and their disarmament.
