Decline among Ukrainians ready for long war
After 32 months of the war in Ukraine, the number of Ukrainian citizens who are ready for the continuation of the war in the long term has decreased, especially in the eastern and southern regions, which have seen the most conflicts.
According to Isna, a survey by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology shows that the number of Ukrainian citizens who want the war in Ukraine to continue as long as necessary has decreased from 73% in February to 63% in October.
This is despite the fact that 6% of the respondents can bear the war in a year, 4% in 6 months, and 15% in just a few months. 12% of the participants in this survey declared that it is difficult for them to answer this question.
The greatest decrease in willingness to continue the war in the long term was recorded in the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine. In southern Ukraine, in February 68 percent of respondents wanted the war to continue as long as necessary; While this figure has now decreased to 50%. Also, in eastern Ukraine, in February 70% of citizens were ready for a long war, but now only 38% of them have such a desire.
