Russia has not interfered in the European Parliament elections
European Union Commissioner Vera Jureva said on Tuesday that the European Commission has no evidence of alleged Russian interference in the European Parliament elections.
According to Isna, European legislators issued a statement in April regarding Russia’s alleged efforts and interference to influence the European Parliament elections in June.
Jorva said in a News conference: “Today, I presented the preliminary analysis of the elections, which included the details of election interference in the online sphere. The results we have so far show that we were fully prepared in this field and no major incidents have occurred.”
However, he claimed that this issue did not mean the end of propaganda by the Kremlin and other countries, and further called for increased awareness in this regard.
