The 18th tourism exhibition will be opened on 23 Bahman

The poster unveiling ceremony of the Tehran International Exhibition of Tourism and Related Industries was held. In this ceremony, Anoushirvan Mohseni Bandapi, Deputy Tourism Minister of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Seyed Mostafa Fatemi, Director General of Domestic Tourism of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Mustafa Shafiei Shakib, the head of the specialized society of tour guides of the country, Harmatullah Rafiei” the head of trade association of air travel and tourism offices were present.

At the beginning of this ceremony, Seyed Mustafa Fatemi, Director General of Domestic Tourism of the Ministry, presented a report on the previous period of the exhibition. Also, the activists of the private sector of tourism also raised the concerns and requirements of holding this exhibition.

Anoushirvan Mohseni Bandapi, Deputy Tourism Minister of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts said in this ceremony:

Every action needs to be presented in the best way and more efforts should be made to advertise this exhibition. Although I agree that until now we had weaknesses in the advertising sector; But by using the capacity and capability we have, we should be able to get the government’s support in implementation.

Mohseni Bandapi said:

According to the estimate, if we attract 19 million tourists, we need 500 planes and 8,000 buses, all of which are in progress. This year, the private sector has increased in the tourism exhibition. 1700 investments in 750 investment packages are present in this exhibition. Also, 12 foreign ministers and 20 foreign ambassadors have been invited so far and we request them to show the ability of domestic tourism to increase our relationship with foreign countries.

Tehran International Exhibition of Tourism and Related Industries will be held from 23rd to 26th of Bahman 1403 at the permanent place of Tehran Exhibitions.
