Some foreign tourists of Shiraz have shared their opinions and experiences with Google users after visiting the Quran Gate.
Koran Gate is one of the historical attractions of Shiraz city, which is located at the exit of this city towards Morvdasht. This gate, which has been destroyed and rebuilt many times, was built by the order of Azd al-Dawla Deilmi, during the Al-Buyeh period, and the purpose of this was to place a copy of the Qur’an on top of the gate to guide travelers. This gate was reconstructed for the last time in the Pahlavi period and the Quran, which was known as the “Seventeenth Quran” and was preserved from the Timurid era, was transferred to the Pars Museum. Nowadays, many foreign tourists visit the attraction of the symbolic Koran Gate and share their experiences with Google users.
