The addition of such a feature means that Premium Social Network X users can now upload their images to the Grok chatbot and ask questions about them. Of course, this feature has not yet been tested and its accuracy is uncertain.

Elon Musk has also reacted to the addition of this feature to Grok chatbot. In a separate post, Musk said that Grok could even explain the meaning of a joke through a new image recognition feature. Musk added that this feature is still in its early stages and will be improved in the future.

Last August, xAI unveiled Grok-2 as a model and chatbot for premium users of the X social network. At the time, xAI announced that the model is also capable of generating images and will soon be equipped with multimodal perception capabilities.
