2024 BMW 5 Series – The BMW 5 Series has been launched in China with special features, some of which we have already seen in the BMW 7 Series.
A few months ago, the BMW 5 Series was unveiled for release in North America and Europe; Now, the German automaker has introduced another version of this premium sedan with special features for the Chinese market. Along with the i5 model, the new version of the 5 Series is also assembled in China’s Dadong plant, which is jointly operated by BMW and Brilliance.
With a length of 5060 mm, in normal condition, the 2024 BMW 5 Series model is longer than the previous model; But in China, the longest version of this sedan is available. Of course, the manufacturing company has not announced the exact dimensions of this version; But its length should be about 5181 mm.
More length means increasing the distance between the front and rear axles, which will result in more space for the rear passengers. Of course, this is not the only advantage of the Chinese version compared to the standard BMW 5 Series. This sedan in China is equipped with a 31.1-inch panoramic screen with 8K resolution and 5G connection; Something borrowed from the BMW 7 Series.
There are other advanced features in both combustion and all-electric models, which include the four-zone air conditioning system and Bower & Wilkins premium audio system.
Even the exterior of the Chinese version of the BMW 5 Series has been slightly changed. Maybe the LED headlights and lighting around the grille are not new; But this sedan in China has a light in the shape of the number 5 on the Hoffmeister kink in the rear pillar, which turns blue in the i5 model when the car is charging. In the model equipped with a combustion engine, this number 5 gives white light.
Of course, it is not without reason that BMW is leaving no stone unturned for the Chinese. Since the German automaker started producing its sedans in China, it has sold more than 2 million units, and from 2020 to 2022 alone, it has managed to sell 530,000 cars to the Chinese.
