Honda Automobile Group has unveiled the 2026 Honda N-One small urban hatchback with improved looks and technological upgrades.
Honda Japan has just unveiled the 2026 model update of its popular N‑One car; A model that offers a combination of originality, minimal urban design and traditional driving pleasure, and brings a complete package of technological upgrades. The body and trims are also available in new colors and packages, enhancing the sense of customization and personalization for Japanese buyers.
Among these changes is the introduction of an all-new special edition that gives customers the feeling of owning a rare model with special visual details and exclusive equipment. But the most important news for enthusiasts is the survival of the N‑One RS sports version, which is still available with a six-speed manual transmission.
Introducing the lovely Honda N-One 2026 model
By introducing the 2026 N‑One model, Honda has shown that even the smallest cars can benefit from the transformation in design and driving experience. One of the highlights of this update is the complete change of the driver’s user interface, and the old analog screen has been replaced by a 7-inch digital display with modern graphics. This new panel not only provides driving data with greater clarity, but also allows customization of themes and colors to give each driver a unique sense of their cabin. Completing this change is a new two-spoke steering wheel that gives the 2026 Honda N-One a look similar to the brand’s larger products.
In the safety department, Honda has taken a step further and the front parking sensors, which are now installed as standard in all models, have made it much easier to get in and out of tight urban spaces. But the attractive point of this introduction is undoubtedly the sports version of the N-One RS. This version is the only model of the N-One family that comes with a six-speed manual transmission, and this feature has made it a symbol of Honda’s loyalty to the mechanical sense and direct connection between the driver and the car.
Under the small hood of the 2026 Honda N-One, there is still the well-known 660 cc three-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 63 horsepower and sends power to the front wheels. Despite its compact dimensions and low-volume engine, the coordination of the power transmission system and the optimized turbocharger have made its driving experience beyond expectations in terms of energy and agility.
In the exterior design of the RS version, we see a black honeycomb grille, an aggressive splitter, a beautiful rear spoiler and new 15-inch alloy wheels in white color, which creates a youthful and racing effect with the contrast of the body color. This design language is reminiscent of the classic Civic Type R models of decades past. Inside the cabin, the same philosophy continues. Carbon fiber design trims on the dashboard and center console are combined with synthetic suede upholstery, detailed red stitching and exclusive graphics on the digital display to create a dynamic, driver-focused environment full of sporty details.
Combining Scandinavian elegance with Japanese engineering in the Craft Style version
Honda has given a new life to its popular K-car urban family by introducing the special edition N‑One Craft Style model 2026. This model is based on the original type, but inspired by Scandinavian minimal aesthetics, it has a completely different and more luxurious look. This inspiration in Craft Style is well reflected in the details of the body and cabin, and the combination of shiny chrome and matte white colors evokes the sense of Nordic European design.
On the exterior, the Craft Style gets a nice and different identity with a bright chrome grille, mirror frames, door handles and gloss white hoods. This play of colors and materials has made the new model look calm and stylish in the midst of busy city streets. The headlights and fog lights are also matched with chrome trim.
Inside the cabin, Honda has used natural wood trim with a warm and delicate texture, which in combination with light cream or bone colored seats has created an attractive space. Technically, the Craft Style has kept the same 660cc three-cylinder engine that comes with a six-speed automatic or manual transmission depending on the model. In this version, Honda has focused on the luxury and quiet experience of everyday driving, not increasing power or competing with sports versions.
In terms of pricing, the base price of Honda N-One model 2026 in the Japanese market starts from about 1.77 million yen (approx. $11,200), while the sporty and popular version of the RS with a manual transmission, which has a completely different philosophy and driver-oriented performance, costs about 2.28 million yen (close to $14,500) arrives.
