The X-Pong G6 EREV with an electric range of 325 km was unveiled

X Peng G6 EREV is on its way to the Chinese market as a range-increasing version of the all-electric G6. What are the specifications and features of this attractive SUV?

X Peng is considered one of the popular and developing brands in China, which has reached world fame with its flying cars. According to the announcement of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, significant specifications of the long-range version of the X Peng G6 SUV, known as the G6 EREV, have been published. According to the new information, this car is equipped with a 55.8 kWh battery and can travel 325 kilometers on a single charge in ideal conditions.

Reports indicate that the new X Peng product is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine as a generator with a maximum power of 110 kW and an electric motor with a power of 218 kW in the rear axle.

In terms of dimensions, the extended X-Pong G6 is similar to the all-electric version and has a length of 4771 mm, a width of 1920 mm, and a height of 1650 mm, respectively. On the other hand, the distance between its axles is 2890 mm, thus providing a suitable space for the front and rear passengers. The maximum speed of this car is 202 km/h, which is desirable.

In terms of design, the G6 REEV follows the design language of the standard Fastback G6 long-chassis model. Sloping grille, integrated lights, continuous LED strip of daylight, retractable door handles and a narrow and flowing roof line are the most important elements of this design language. Also, the option of R18 and R20 rims will be available for those interested.

The new G6 EREV is one of X-Pong’s projects to develop long-range electric vehicles. G6 Bardafaza can cover a distance of 325 km in full electric mode, and if the generator or Bardafaza engine is turned on, the maximum distance that can be traveled increases to more than 1400 km.

According to the document published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the combined and final range of this product has not been specified, but previous reports clearly show that some extended versions can have a range of up to 1400 km. Xpeng G6 EREV is in the process of obtaining legal approvals and its official unveiling date has not yet been released. It is expected to be released before the end of this year.

The price details of this extended car have not yet been determined, while the price of the all-electric version of the G6 is approximately $24,800 for the base model. However, the charging time in normal conditions and the efficiency of the booster engine, which acts as a generator, should be tested and checked.
