In many cases, Iranian platforms are not even able to satisfy Iranian users; But now the Minister of Communications says that not only Iranian users welcome local platforms, but foreign countries are also interested in these platforms!
For a long time, the Ministry of Communications has sought to increase the number of users of internal platforms, and to reach more users, they used every method you can think of. No one has access to statistics related to internal platforms, but reports published by the Ministry of Communications show that half of Iranians use these platforms! In addition to these reports, which are not easy to believe, we must now try to believe the interest of foreign countries in domestic platforms.
In one of the local messengers, the Minister of Communications talked about the acceptance of Iranian platforms by foreign countries. He has announced that messengers, social networks and other Iranian platforms present in the exhibition on the sidelines of the ECO Summit were praised and noticed by delegations from foreign countries.
As stated by the Minister of Communications, many of these delegations have requested the implementation of our native platforms in their own countries. Issa Zarepour and his ministry have plans to fully support domestic platforms on the way to globalization and want to stand by these platforms.
Iranian platforms want to become global!
As in the past, we do not judge the communications minister’s speech; But in the meantime, it is very important to pay attention to several points. Some Iranian platforms did not have the ability to provide proper service at the time of severe filtering in 1401 due to the one-time migration of users, and sometimes sending a message in one of these native messengers takes longer than sending an SMS. Even if we ignore this point, we cannot ignore the problems of internal platforms with VPNs. These platforms usually don’t work very well when your IP is in a country other than Iran, and in some cases they even stop completely. Another important point is that the most downloaded Iranian messengers are a complete copy of Telegram, and our most popular social network is also a weak copy of Instagram and Telegram.
Considering such conditions, it should be seen which foreign countries want to use these platforms in their country; Platforms that are sometimes not even present in reputable global software stores, and users have to go to Myket and Cafe Bazaar to install them. Even if these programs and platforms are sold to foreign customers, it should be seen which country’s people are willing to bring their activities to Yes, Rubika, Igap, Veristi, etc. instead of WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook!
