Introducing the Porsche Vision 357 Speedster concept car
The Vision 357 Speedster electric concept car, although presented as a tribute to the 356, is actually based on the Porsche 718 GT4 e-Performance. The electric motors and battery of this car are provided by Porsche Mission R and its chassis belongs to Porsche 718 GT4 Club Sport. Concept Vision 357, which was considered the coupe version of its family, was developed based on the 718 Cayman GT4 RS.
On the exterior of this Porsche concept with its attractive retro design, a combination of white, race-inspired gray and Miami blue can be seen. The number 75 is prominently embossed on the body to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the legendary 356, and the vertical element used in the rear is also related to this classic car. In addition, instead of conventional mirrors, wing-shaped cameras are installed on both sides of the car.
In the Vision 357 Speedster cabin, there is no other interesting element except the basic components. The low position of the seat, the sports steering wheel and the transparent surface behind the steering wheel as an amp screen are the features that need to be mentioned in the interior of this concept car. Carbon fiber has also been used in abundance inside the car to add to its sporty, racing nature. Even instead of the usual dashboard compartment, there are blue straps for storing things.
Porsche hasn’t officially released performance figures for the Vision 357 Speedster, but the open-top is likely to produce more than 1,000 horsepower and is also expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.
