Honor Magic V2 is here; Say hello to the world’s thinnest foldable phone

Honor Magic V2 flexible phone called the world’s thinnest folding phone, flagship specifications and a high price of $1,200 was introduced to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold.

Honor officially unveiled the third generation of its foldable phone, Honor Magic V2. It is an amazing product with a thinness of 9.9 inches and a weight of 231 grams. Until now, the Xiaomi Mi Fold 2, with a thickness of 11.2 mm and a weight of 262 grams, carried the title of the thinnest flexible mobile phone in the world.

What does Honor Magic V2 have to offer?

One of the most prominent design elements of this phone is its integrated gearless hinge, which uses a 3D-printed titanium coating. This folding mechanism uses small custom screws in its parts. And while there’s no official confirmation, at least the manufacturer has confirmed that it’s used a P2i water-repellent coating on all of the phone’s internals to protect it from accidental splashes.

The Honor Magic V2 foldable phone uses a 7.92-inch LTPO-OLED display with a resolution of 2156 x 2344 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This display panel supports HDR10+ certification and achieves a peak brightness of 1600 nits with automatic mode. The display of Honor’s foldable phone also supports the smart pen, and there is a hole on it where a 16 megapixel selfie camera is hidden.

There is also a secondary display on its back cover, which measures 6.43 inches, uses a 10-bit OLED panel with a resolution of 2376 x 1060 pixels and has a peak brightness of 2500 nits. This display also supports smart pen.

The Honor Magic V2 foldable phone is powered by a powerful Snapdragon 8 generation 2 chipset with a 3.36 Hz Cortex-X3 core. 12 GB of RAM and 512/256 GB of internal memory are also available to users.
