Samsung and the next step in folding; Simultaneous display of three apps on the home screen

It looks like a long time until Samsung’s official unveiling of the triple handset, and now a new disclosure of the One UI 8 software segment shows that this device may have an important advantage over the newly adopted Galaxy Z Fold 7.

The Sammyguru group has access to the hidden elements in the One UI 8 interface, indicating that the new device will be able to display three applications simultaneously on the home screen. This feature actually provides a unique experience of multiplicity. Although the 5 -inch Galaxy Zed Fold 2 and its previous models can also run three apps at the same time, one of these applications has to take half the page, so the other two programs are compressed in the corners. Another expected improvement is that the Samsung triple folding handset will also be able to display three main pages, which are reflected from the three main pages on the outer screen (which can be moved between them).

This leaked information is promising, as Samsung seems to have been careful about the differences between a triple folding handset. According to the report, support for these features will be provided with the One UI 8.5 version. Given that the One UI 8 is currently available on specific devices, including the Samsung Galaxy Zed Fold 2, it can be assumed that the supply of a triple folding handset is not too far. Previous rumors suggested that Samsung’s large unveiling will be held in October. The company pointed to the device for the first time in January at the time of the Galaxy S25 introduction, so it is clear that its release is definitive, but since then there has been little information on the smartphone.
